Homemade Hazelnut Spread a.k.a Homemade Nutella
Step by step Homemade Nutella

Whip up your own creamy, chocolatey Nutella with this easy recipe! Roasted hazelnuts, rich cocoa, and Copra’s Coconut Nectar come together for a delicious spread that's perfect on anything (or by the spoonful!). It's natural, preservative-free, and so much better than store-bought. Get ready to spread the love with your homemade Nutella!

Ingredients

2 cups hazelnuts
½  cup unsweetened cocoa powder
⅓ cub Copra’s Organic Coconut Nectar
¼ cup coconut oil
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1. Roast the hazelnuts for 10 minutes. You can use them either skinned or unskinned, whichever is more convenient.
Step 2. If your hazelnuts have shells, the easiest way to peel them is by rubbing them with a towel.
Step 3. Blend the roasted hazelnuts in a blender until smooth.
Step 4. Add cocoa powder, Copra’s Coconut Nectar, vanilla extract, coconut oil, and a pinch of salt. Blend until well combined.
Step 5. Store the mixture in a container at room temperature for up to two weeks. For longer storage, refrigerate it for up to two months.
