Coconut Water Poached Apples

Coconut Water Poached Apples

Poached apples get a tropical, gently spiced makeover with Copra’s pure coconut water as the aromatic base. Cinnamon, star anise, and ginger infuse the fruit with warmth without overpowering its natural sweetness. The reduced coconut syrup adds a glossy finish that feels both simple and elegant. Serve warm with whipped coconut cream for a comforting dessert that’s somehow still refreshing.

Coconut Water Poached Apples

Ingredients

4 small gala apples, peeled and halved
3 cups Copra’s 100% Pure Coconut Water
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
1 slice of fresh ginger
1 tbsp Copra Coconut Nectar (optional for sweetness)
1 cup coconut whipping cream
Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Step 1. In a small pot, combine coconut water, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, and salt. Bring to a simmer.
Step 2. Add the apple halves and gently poach for 10–12 minutes until tender but not mushy.
Step 3. Remove apples and reduce the poaching liquid until slightly syrupy.
Step 4. Pour the spiced coconut reduction over the apples to serve.
