Ingredients
1 block of puff pastry
1 egg
½ cup Copra’s Organic Coconut Sugar
2 tbsp Copra’s Organic Coconut Nectar
3 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp clover powder
Instructions
Step 1. Preheat your oven to 375F.
Step 2. Gently roll out your puff pastry.
Step 3. In a small bowl combine the sugar, cinnamon, ginger and clover powder.
Step 4. Brush the puff pastry with a thin layer of coconut nectar.
Step 5. Sprinkle half the cinnamon and sugar mixture over the puff pastry.
Step 6. Fold the pastry in half, then use a roller to roll it out even thinner.
Step 7. Cut the puff pastry into strips, then twist into shape.
Step 8. Brush it with egg wash and place it in a parchment lined tray and bake it until golden brown.
Step 9. Once out of the oven, dust some of the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture. Enjoy it with ice cream, whipped cream or just by itself.
