Thai Salim Dessert
Step by step recipe

Ingredients

Sweet Coconut Milk

1 cups Coconut Milk
1 tsp salt
1 cup Sugar
1 fold pandan leaf

Colorful Salim

1 cup green color, pandan powder
1 cup red color, red flavored syrup
600 g glass noodle
1 cup water

Fruity Mixture

1 cup jackfruit
1 cup Copra’s Young Thai Coconut Meat

Instructions

Sweet Coconut Milk

Step 1. In a pot, add coconut milk and pandan leaf. Boil for a while, then add salt, stirring to prevent burning at the bottom.
Step 2. Add sugar into the pot, and keep stirring until it dissolves.
Step 3. Once boiled, set aside and let it cool down.

Fruity Mixture

Step 1. Slice the jackfruit and Copra’s Young Thai Coconut Meat into straight lines.
Step 2. Set aside on a plate.

Colorful Salim Noodles

Step 1. In bowls, add flavored syrup and pandan powder for each color in separate bowls.
Step 2. In a pot, add water and bring it to a simmer. Once simmering, add glass noodles. Boil until they appear jelly-like on the outside and look cooked.
Step 3. Put the cooked glass noodles into each bowl of flavored syrup. Mix well and let them absorb the color and flavor.
Step 4. Once they have absorbed the syrup, in a bowl, add the 2 colored flavored glass noodles.
Step 5. Add the mixed coconut milk and garnish with the fruit mixture for added texture. Enjoy!
