Ingredients
- 10 oz mushroom
- 2 oz green beans
- 1 oz lemon or holy basil
- 1 oz Copra’s coconut aminos
- 1 oz mushroom sauce
- 1 oz Copra’s organic coconut nectar
- 1 oz vegetable oil
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 5 bird’s eye chilies
Instructions
Step 1. To a pan over medium heat add the vegetable oil and mushrooms. Keep stirring it for a couple seconds then add the green beans.Step 2. Once everything is nicely golden add the minced garlic and chilies and combine.
Step 3. Add your coconut aminos, mushroom sauce and coconut nectar.
Step 4. Turn off the heat, then add your basil leafs. Stir it well until the leafs soften.
Step 5. Serve with freshly cooked rice and fresh green beans.
Pro-tip
Traditionally ‘pad kra pao’ is served with a crispy fried egg and sliced cucumber. Adding those toppings will not only create a more balanced dish but also adds more nutrients and fiber to your meal.
