Young Coconut Meat: 4 Simple And Easy Ways to Refuel

Easy Ways To Refuel With Coconut Meat

If you're running out of ideas to use your coconut meat, you may be overthinking the simple go-to's like smoothies, wraps and bites! Coconut meat is low in fructose and contains healthy MCT fats, fiber, potassium and essential nutrients. Like other known plant-proteins, coconut meat is easily digestible in comparison to protein sources from animals. Those are just a couple reasons to try the easy ways to refuel with coconut meat below!

1. On-the-go in your smoothie

Try swapping out your usual banana for coconut meat, also packed with potassium and more than double the fiber content. For a heartier smoothie, add both! Purchase a variety pack and try blending our coconut meat and coconut water together.

2. Stack it high on your wraps and sandwiches

Coconut meat contains healthy MCT fats that help to keep you feeling full a.k.a satisfied! Try incorporating a satiating layer of coconut meat on your wraps and/or sandwiches. Create savory and sweet combinations with nut butters, etc.

3. Add as a topping in your bowl

Our raw, hand-scooped young coconut meat has an extensive list of health benefits including zero sugar unlike coconut flakes!

4. Create healthy bites for your sweet tooth

This recipe is perfect for any sweet tooth! Blend 3 cups of coconut meat in a high-speed blender or processor. Then, slowly add 1/3 cup of coconut nectar, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt into the mix. Pour the coconut mixture into a prepared pan and spread evenly. Place in the freezer for about 45 minutes or until the coconut bar has set. Cut into bite-size pieces to enjoy bare or covered in dark chocolate!
