Our young coconut meat is hand-scooped from Thai “nam hom” coconuts, prized across the world for their unparalleled flavor and texture. The coconuts are picked at peak ripeness and then cracked the same day as harvest. Copra’s coconut meat is grade A, with no husk and kept in large pieces so that you have utmost flexibility in deciding how to use this versatile ingredient. With a soft, thin texture and a creamy, nutty, slightly sweet flavor, this coconut meat is the highest quality available in the world.
This product is perfect for high-volume foodservice customers and companies using it as an ingredient. Ships and stores frozen for best quality. This product is not IQF.

STORAGE |
Copra stores and transports this product at -18c. Product must be stored refrigerated at a minimum, if not frozen. Store frozen if not using within 5 days. |
HANDLING |
Keep frozen. Thaw in the refrigerator, or run under cold water for faster results. Before consumption, heat treat at a minimum of 176°F for at least 5 seconds. Keep refrigerated after thawing and use within 7 days. Do not refreeze.
