Coconut Curry Hummus

What you need

  • 1 cup coconut yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons shredded, unsweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup water (depending on desired consistency)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of sea salt, to taste

step by step

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Adjust lemon, tahini, spices, and salt to taste.
