Our Coconut Story

We grew up drinking coconut water that tasted like actual coconuts. Then we moved abroad and got smacked in the face by bland, watered-down imposters. So, we did what any coconut-obsessed duo would do—created Copra. We work with local Thai farmers to bring you the real deal: fresh, naturally sweet coconut water that doesn’t taste like disappointment.

What are Nam Hom Coconuts?

Nam Hom coconuts are a one-of-a-kind coconut grown in exactly one place on Earth—not Brazil, Mexico, or Costa Rica—but Western Thailand. They get their superpowers from mineral-rich soil, tropical sunshine, and the brackish waters of the Mae Kong River. The result? A ridiculously refreshing, fragrant coconut water that tastes like vacation in a bottle.

4 years is how long it takes for a tree to yield its first coconut harvest
1 place in the world has the perfect conditions: Ratchaburi, Thailand
105 Fahreinhiet is how hot Ratchaburi gets, which is perfect for that crisp, sweet taste

Responsible Stewardship

Our smallholder farmers use animal manure (aka compost gold) and fruit intercropping to keep the soil thriving and the planet happy. We supply fertilizers to our farmers and incentivize them to grow organic. No pesticides. No BS. We even treat and reuse our own water, because wasting it would be dumb.

Over 2,000 acres of organic farming
100,000 pounds of compost is donated to our farmers every year
Over 200,000 coconut husks are converted to biofuel every day

Our Community

We don’t just throw the word “community” around lightly. Schools, gyms, temples, football fields—you name it, we support it. We also provide housing for our diverse workforce. Plus, we donate to education, flood relief, and community cleanups because doing good feels good.

90% of our workforce has been with us since we started in 2013!
117 scholarships awarded to children of coconut farmers
Yearly donations to local and national charities
